Sustainability

As a major organizer of events and exhibitions, Aviation Week, a division of Informa, has the opportunity and responsibility to lead the sustainable development of our industry. Our attendees, exhibitors and colleagues are all clearly telling us that sustainability, socially, economically and environmentally, is something that is no longer a “nice to have” but a necessary part of our success.

We also have the potential to go further than our responsibility to deliver our events sustainably: we can design our events to provide a place to work in partnership with our customers and inspire the sustainable development of the industries we serve.  For more information on Aviation Week and Informa’s overall commitment to sustainable events click here.

Airlink: Supercharging Humanitarian Aid with Aviation Power

Airlink is not your average nonprofit – it's a game-changer in the humanitarian world!  This global organization is revolutionizing disaster response by harnessing the speed and reach of aviation. Here's the lowdown:

  • Airlink connects nonprofits with critical airlift and logistics support
  •  They're transforming how we tackle global crises
  •  Teaming up with Aviation Week Network to showcase aviation's positive impact

Want to see how your future career could literally save lives? Visit Airlink  Airlink is proof that the aviation industry isn't just about business – it's a force for good in the world!

Aviation Women Inspiring the Next Generation (A-WING)

is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to transform the future of aviation, space, and defense by advancing gender equality and unlocking the full potential of women across the industry.

We believe the sky should never be the limit—and yet, for too many women, barriers still exist. While the demand for skilled talent continues to rise globally, women remain underrepresented across nearly every sector, especially in leadership. A-WING exists to change that narrative.

Purposeful Partnership

  • Airlink, a global humanitarian organization. The partnership works to promote awareness about and raise funds for, Airlink’s mission to deliver critical aid to communities in crisis through industry and NGO partnerships.
  • The MRO and Engines Series are partnered with A4A and IATA across all of our MRO events. Both organizations are actively involved in the development of show content and support of the aviation community.

Planting Trees from App Activity

The event app provider, Brella, is partnered with the One Tree Planted. The partnership is designed to involve Brella’s users in global reforestation one meeting at a time: for every 10 meetings scheduled through the networking tool, Brella will plant 1 mangrove in Southeast Asia. More information can be found here

MRO BEER 2025 resulted in 4782 meetings, which means that 478 trees were planted. Thank you to all our amazing networkers!
